Machine only 18 months old. Dryer used for one hour per week. Calgon used with every wash. Gets monthly maintenance wash ( 90 deg wash with soda crystals ) Sometimes, on tumble drying cycle, it trips the main RCD for all the sockets in the house but not the separate kitchen RCD where the machine is located. Has done it 6 times over last year. Is it likely this is due to faulty wiring in the house or more likely to be the machine ? Don’t want to call out repair engineer if fault is with my electrics and incur call out charge. Many thanks for help.
Re: AEG Lavamat 61470 Trips Electrics on Dry Cycle
Yes, but the fault is intermittent. It now works. It failed yesterday. It has failed 6 times over the last year. Could this be because the Dryer Heater is partly failing but not yet completely dead ? Is such a thing possible ?
