I have a confusing problem with my washing machine, in that if I run a 95 degree wash, the detergent stays in the dispenser drawer. I haven’t noticed any problem with ‘normal’ washes of 40-60 degrees. It is only the 95 degree wash that doesn’t work.

I mostly use powder or tablets that go in the dispenser drawer and most washing is done at 40 with sheets/towels at 60. Every so often I wash a few dishcloths at 95, but the last few times I have tried this the powder or tablet has been left slightly soggy in the dispenser drawer.

Can anyone suggest anything? I don’t understand why it only seems to be the hot wash that doesn’t work.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

You need to remove the drawer and thoroughly clean the underside of the soap drawer housing. This is the part that has the jets in it that wash the powder away (not to be confused with the drawer itself that you pull out; it is the plastic box that the drawer pushes INTO that requires the attention). If these jets are blocked, the powder will remain or be just slightly wet.
If the problem still persists, then there may be a problem with the triple inlet valve.

    Hope that helps,

    A.
