AEG lavamat 74620 update.
Fault code ‘CA’ showing – ie. motor triac shorting.
Does this fault require a new PCB, if so, what is the part no? Or is the triac replaceable? Does a shorting motor cause the triac to blow? Could it be both the PCB and the motor?
Going to this machine tomorrow so some pointers would be very helpful. I have no PNC number yet due to the machine stopping mid – cycle full of water!! I would normally use the Distriparts DVD to do a diagnosis, but it doesn’t recognise the model no. without a PNC no. 😕
Thanks in advance,
Steve.
