AEG Lavamat 86741 Error C6

Hi, first post in desperation !!, 4 kids and a broken AEG Lavamat 86741 Update showing error C6 😯 . Quick google reckons its the pressure sensors, i have taken the top off and can see them and are about to order replacements but does anyone know if this could be the real cause of the c6 error.

Carry out a reset but to no avail and error appears within seconds of selecting a wash programme

Machine is about 5 yrs old

C6 is caused by either a) defective mechanical pressure switch, b) defective pressure sensor or c) Defective wiring to either a or b.

You may want to just remove the hoses from the switch & sensor, noting what hose went where & blow down them to see if they are clear. If not, trace blockage & clear, refit hoses & test.

Before doing the above, please isolate the appliance from the mains electric supply.

Thanks very much for the advice, tried that but no change, 🙁 have managed to get an engineer out tomorrrow

Update….AEG is dead, concrete block on drum had worked loose and been smashing against the control board for about a year & it gave up the ghost. Excellent repair man tried everything to revive it and recomemned not spending any more money on it……however ordered an ISE10 today due for delivery Tuesday !!!
