Heater out of circuit or failed. Heater relay on power board failed. Possible temperature sensor (ntc) failed.

any chance of any circuit diagrams?
I get aprox 28ohms across the heating element and nothing to earth, so assume good.
the temperature probe I get just under 5Kohms at room temp, again, assume good.main cct board at the top which looks to be for the heater, burn power connection, cleaned up and meters ok, relays meter out and appear ok.
still the same,
C7 and the pre wash, main wash and the rinse leds flash?
Starting to struggle, I am an electrical engineer but not in the appliance trade, but should be able to cope with anything technical with my back ground…
please help!! washing pile getting bigger!!!
Thanks

Don’t know if this is relevent, but the on the last ‘working cycle I stopped it before it finished, it was about 3mins to the end on a quick wash.
I then selected a long spin and started it, this ran ok, was the next wash that didn’t work.
thanks again.

Participantnope, because it runs a diagnostic before it starts
something faulty – whats the point?
have you actually checked the pump yet?

yes pumps clear even removed the pipes to the pressure switches and turned on, still the same.
only been a month since I had to replace the bearings.
some circuit diagrams if available would really help.
Thanks

ok, I understand the reasons that you do not give out diagrams etc.
been trying to work it out, struggling to understand how the machine would know if the heating element is open cct when the connections to it, go through the door switch and the pressure switch so when there is no water in the machine there would be no complete circuit back to the main control board? even when to door is closed? so how would it know?
Does the board have memory for errors like this? can it be reset? if so how? this would explain alot, if this is the case I would suspect resistive contacts on the pressure switch as it seems intermittant.
Someone could really save me a lot of time here mapping out the wiring. Or where can i buy a service manual for this washing machine, by this i don’t mean an idiot guide, I need circuits and error codes etc.
I fear that the main control pcb is at fault and at nearly £200! I think this will be going to the kitchen in the sky unless i can repair it! which is really sad as I have just spent quite a bit of money on it changing the bearings and its a really good machine! 😥

Still not working…..
can someone tell me how the ‘digital’ pressure switch works, has 3 connections 5v 0v and digi which i assume is the output, the 5v to the sensor is good but the output is at 3.8v? this seems an odd voltage for a digital output, when i blow gently the the voltage changes range briefly, (up i think, will need to scope it to be sure) then goes back to 3.8V, does nothing when pressure is released.
Where can i get one of those diagose m8’s?
Thanks

Almost impossible to imagine where?….Ebay maybe?….Give us the PNC number of your machine, we can then tell you what the part number is, then you can try searching Ebay for one? 😉
