AEG Lavamat error code E20

Our AEG washing machine has just developed a fault – it shows error code E20 and does not drain. The filter is clean and there are no kinks in the hose.

We can manually drain using the little drain pipe and then restart the machine and it will continue it’s cycle, until it needs to drain again – repeat!

Any suggestions would be appreciated – it seems to me it must be the pump, but obviously I would like to confirm this before buying a replacement.

Its possible the pump itself is blocked, but more likely that the pump will need to be replaced.

If you pop up your model no and production number and Dave Conway will find out a price for the part for you.
