ParticipantHi Guys, anyone know if this machine has a diagnostic program and how to access it?
Went to the machine today for no spin fault. I checked the spin and it was ok.
Thought customer had an uneven load in, as it was bath sheets and towels. Asked her to try another load and see what happens.
Got a call back machine stuck on 1 minute, clothes still hot and machine just pumping out. No fault in display, no water in base. I reset program to a 40degree cotton wash but machine just keeps pumping out with no water intake. Any ideas please?Alan

Always worth looking for low insulation faults ( <40Mohm ) of any kind on Lux machines. Whether or not you find such, try unplugging motor, heater in turn to see what reaction you get. Then of course there's the possibility of the p/switches getting in a tiz because there's a colourcatcher stuck somewhere in the sump hose or the table tennis ball is obstructed from it's normal behaviour.

Thanks for the help guys, diagnostics showed e41, door interlock fault causing program to reset. Don’t know if this is a problem on this machine but I have already changed the interlock on this machine just over a year ago. Wires on the plug to the interlock had overheated and melted together. 🙁

Loom from p.c.b to interlock & interlock should be changed if theres sign of overheating. Advise customer to switch off machine as they will cook interlock if its left switched on continuously.

Yes they cook nicely don’t they? Replacement loom/harness part no is 1325231007 by the way, worth having one in stock as they often fail. 😉
