AEG Lavamat W1259 electronic. Weird fault?

Went to one of these machines today. Customer reports that it wont spin and the ‘end’ led flashes. Did my usual routine check, started by trying it on a spin. Machine pumps out fine but appears to have no motor action. After pumping out long enough to empty the tub, the machine goes dead for about 1 min, then begins to pump for aprox 5 secconds, goes dead for another min, then pumps again for another 5 secconds. I assume it then repeats this process until the end light begins to flash. So, tried it on a 40o Non fast coloureds. Machine fills up to the usual level and the drum begins to turn with the normal wash action. after a short display of motor action the machine becomes inactive. PNC is : 914 002 451 and S/N is : 32780846. Not had this one before. Could it be a faulty PCB perhaps? Any feedback would be deeply apriciated!

Thanks, had a look at that. Complicated stuff… Well, will try and read the error code. Any more help would be welcome.

Sorry, Rob – I forgot to send the flow chart diagnostic sequences. 😳
Another e’mail for ya.
Look at E52 – probably where you need to test.
