AEG Lavamat74335 W/Mach. E34 Fault

Hi Folks

Just like a few oppinions on this one if you can

Machine starts pumps out for about 10 secs then shuts down. Gone into diagnostic mode and comes up with an E45 fault which according to manual is a pressure sensor fault.

Pressure sensor looks like an electronic presure switch? Tested between all three contacts and got a resistance between but presumably as this is a variable resistance the resistance should be high which it is.

Has anyone had any faults with these or as I am getting a resistance between contacts is the fault more likely to be the pcb board?

Put machine onto all the other function modes in diagnostic and all componants are working including motor on the leak testing cycle but machine won’t go into spin on pump and spin test, will only pump out then shuts down.

Any ideas?

There are two pressure devices according to the diagram, one is the analogic one and the other a normal one.

The analogic seem pretty reliable on the whole.

E34 or E45 ❓

If it is E34 then it is probably the Analogic (electronic) pressure switch.

Not too expensive to try one on. A lot cheaper to try that first than the module. No real way to test them outside of an electronics workshop as they work on frequency. 🙂

Left message for cust see what they want to do as wern’t prepaired to pay for module if it was that.. but I would like to try pressure sensor for future ref. but not sure yet whether they are willing to atm.
