ParticipantHi Guys,
got this machine Initial fault was end light flashing 5 times first phase then 4 times in steady sequence. When I checked the fault code by holding the top two buttons on the first bank of switches the sequence gives a fault code of 43 which is supposed to be the door interlock. I changed the interlock and got the machine to come back to life, but now if I select the spin program the machine starts by pumping out and then does one cycle of motor action, pauses as if it is going to change direction and then the machine goes silent, no pump,no motor but the program lights are still on. switch off and back on and fault as before. If I disconnect the motor I can reselect the program and restart, plug the motor back in and the fault resumes. anyone know if this is likely to be a module or motor fault. Have only checked machine on the spin prog.

Chris,
ran the full service program, it wouldn’t start with the motor plugged in,worked ok without motor plugged in, plugged motor in during test and error code 51 came up, so assume it’s the motor?Alan

Keymasterfor checking motor you have to measure his resistence between plugs… brushes, stator and tacho… and most important measurement is from each of them to mass on MOhm scale

Baron
Can you repair pcb by changing faulty triac. Is it the one clipped to the heatsink.

KeymasterAnything can be repaired… only life not… and depends of costs…
If I remember is BTB16 but I thing is not that faulty… few of them is gone “lazy” more are going in SCC and then motor is starting to spin all time…To be more accurate tell me what kind of PCB has: EWM1000, EWM2000, AKO… or more rapidly layout photo…

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all your input with the problem I’ve had with this machine.
I finally pinpointed the fault, it was the heater ntc that was faulty.Machine going great again. Thanks again
