    Hello,

Our family washing machine recently started leaking. My Dad is usually a dab-hand at home maintenance stuff so set about fixing it. It is a AEG OKO_LAVAMAT 610 (E-no. 605.637203).

He worked out that the leak was associated with the pump that empties the machine and located exactly where it was (a dodgy seal washer located between the impeller and the pump on the pump shaft). After contacting AEG for a spare part he was told that they don’t do spare parts and will have to buy a complete new pump costing >£80!

Can anyone give advice as to where we could get another seal and how you would install it (ie. removing the impeller)?

    Thanks!

    Matt

The seal is unavailable 🙁 It is a whole pump that you’ll need!

The genuine pump is expensive, but ‘The Spares Master’ should be able to provide a non-genuine pump a little cheaper than that price.

Email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and ask for a pump for a 605637203
