    I have received three calls, all with the same problem on a tall AEG larder fridge with PCB control.
    There is a huge lump of ice forming on the evaporator – anyone else come across this or have any ideas please??

    Defrost heater? Thermistor? What model do you refer to anyway? 😕

    Hi Martin, thanks for your help.

    The model is 3688-6ka PNC927717621.

    There is a big lump of ice inside but no water in the reevap tray on top of the compressor. I see that the drain tube is inside the casing and was wondereing whether there is a design fault and that the drain is icing up inside the casing?? (although it’s only a larder fridge ).
