    Hi guys,
are there any aeg m/w experts out there! been out to one,(built in) had tripped the rcd. When looked at, the fuse in the plug had blown as well as the 12amp fuse in the m/w. I replaced both, done all usual tests and it was ok.Got a call next day to say it had blown again!I took it back to the workshop and again both fuses had blown. I tracked it down to a short(live & nuetral) on the door lock pcb(door switches are mounted on a pcb), I replaced it and had it on test for a couple of days, all ok. Two days after I returned it , it went again and the same thing has happened, short on door lock pcb, and both fuses blown. It always goes when they close the door and they assure me they are not slamming it.
    Any ideas
    Cheers
    Merv

Is the customer cooking rice or baked potatos or anything that causes excess steam? Thought it might be condensating on the door p.c.b

It’s mainly the kids that use it for burgers and ready meals(typical healthy diet), Which is why I’m dubious when they say they are not slamming the door.
