AEG Main Oven continue to heat after switchig off

HI all, I was wondering whether I can get some insight here.

We have an AEG double oven, both top and main oven works fine for cooking, however, the main oven tends to continue to heat after being switched off (I can see the light off) as if it tries to maintain a moderate heat probably like 40 degree. The oven light is off though I notice a few times it automatically backs on. It goes on and on all the time, quite often I found it warm in the morning after the whole night – yes this is different than fan continues to work a while to cool off – it almost seems like the oven is set to 0 degree in off position but it works like at 40 degree.

This is AEGD2160-1M2 model.

I have searched the forum but couldn’t find anything similar. Does anyone ever experience this? otherwise I probably have to get an engineer to have a look I suppose. thanks

I should have added that the problem started after the cleaning. And I suspect the thermostat may be broken by the cleaner as I can see it just hanging at the back of the oven…

Maybe something as simple as knob turned on shaft slightly, if not you would need to get engineer to get it checked for short circuit somewhere.
I’d be advising you to be switching it off at wall switch for safety in the meantime.
