Hello, first post, suspect not the last as everything is getting older, including me!

My query concerns my AEG Micromat m/w oven, fitted above the AEG oven and grill. Over 30 years old now. The light inside hasn’t worked for some time, and i have absolutely no idea how to access the bulb holder. A kitchen fitter couldn’t help either (he was changing a ring under the AEG hob) so I am hoping someone here has a simple answer. Many many thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Norman.

Dave, many thanks for your replies, but I’ve given all the info I have. I just wonder if there is a generic AEG “this may be the way to do it” ?

a lot of units you have to acess the light from inside the case which also put you at risk of high voltage electric shocks even when the unit is unplugged unless you know how to discharge the high voltage capacitor

there must me more informaion on it somewhere. none of those numbers are a model or Pnc number. both of which would be on the machine somewhere

    Thanks Dave,

Looks like an AEG engineer call out imminent as its obviously got to come out of the housing. Cheers.

you should be able to find an independant engineer who would not be as expensive as the manufacturer

also some lamps for AEG miscrowaves are expensive as i have noe recently where the lamp is over £40

that why i needed more info to look it up
