AEG oko fav 4040 pnc 91123201401 on off switch

Not staying latched apparently. Not been to see yet. Only part which sounds like it is 8996461736119 which seems to have a list price of £84 +, or I can get one from connect at £92.80 + =£106.72 for an on/off switch? 😯 No picture. Is this the right part? Will I be able to get round that?

Try 8996461217607 and 8996461218407. With connect both these link to one item which is the catch and plate which they have in stock.

Well, I’ve taken the old one out and brought it home to have a go at repairing it. It’s a complete unit incorporating on/off plus some selector buttons. I had a go in the kitchen (hol. cott. again) but after an hour and a half still only had a half effective repair and nearly lost a spring. What a daft design to put such a vulnerable part as the on/off switch in together with a bank of other stuff. So much for Vorsprung durch technik.
