ParticipantI have already used this forum to temporarily fix this dishwasher (thanks 😀 ) when it was just pumping out continously. It had leaked into the bottom tray and the float switch had activated.
It has a slow leak from a big white flat plastic thing on the left hand side of the machine that might be called ‘the matrix’. Anyway, the leak comes from what looks like a clear 15mm thick overflow pipe and if you look at the picture you can see the pipe I am refering to – I have named it LEAK in honor of its leakiness!

I took the matrix out a few times cleaning it and the thing I have labeled ? that looks like it’s filled up with chilli sauce (what on earth is that?). None of it really needed any cleaning so sadly it still leaks out of that tube slowly when water is being pumped through the matrix. I even stuck a pen top in the end of the tube to see what happened but then it seemed to leak from behind the matrix so I can’t use that as a cheat fix.
So I am stuck and hope someone can help me out. The dishwasher was born back in 1997.
Oh I found a good video on how to take out and clean the matrix thing here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZ3tRv5nS4w

I’m a bit sad that I haven’t had any response at all.
Have I missed out any information like a more detailed model number or maybe even a serial number?

I may have found a workaround for this problem by starting the program part way into the B program where there is a dash.
It seems since doing that the machine has stopped leaking down that tube thing BUT to be sure that is what actually fixed it I will run the machine a few times in the old manner and see if the leak starts again – as it could be coincidence and something else might have magically fixed itself at roughly the same time!
If I remember I will post back here with my findings so anyone else googling this post will know the outcome for fixing a similar issue with their machine.
