I have the above sat in my workshop.
    Model 50700-w
    PNC 911 232 407 01
    S/N 12076882

When the dishwasher begins to fill up a small amount of water begins to run out of the clear plastic breather pipe fitted to the plastic water box/regen unit on the left side of the dishwasher. Over a short period of time, this fills up the base and puts it into flood protection. There is a thick black hose that seems to be connected to the sump. I have checked this to see if it is made up with any blockages but it seems to be clear.
There is a bit of a ‘crud’ build up inside the water box but I didn’t want to remove it or replace it until I have a bit more info on this. I have had a look at the electrolux website using the pnc number and it gives me no info on this problem. There must be someone out there who has had this before.
    Any ideas guys?
    Many thanks,
    Rob. (WhiskeyJack6058)

havent worked for electrolux for a while but seem to remember there was no sollution, we used to try to place the hose in a postion that the end was in the air, create a `u` in the hose,

Funny that you should say that! I noticed that the hose was positioned like that when I opened it up. Perhaps I should consider blocking it up and testing it a few times in my workshop.
    Thanks for your help!

For anyone who is interested, I have sorted this one out myself. I changed the water box on the left side (cost price about £10.15 +vat) and its working fine!
