AEG OKO – Favorit 80800 Drying Fan Not Working

Dear All,

We currently own the best dishwasher in the world. It has 3 spray arms, time remaining indicator, auto setting AND an interior light!

However – the drying fan has stopped working. The thing is we can’t test whether the fan is getting power because when you open the door it obviously stops. I also don’t really want to try supplyuply voltage to the fan because a) I don’t know whether the voltage to the fan is reduced at some point and b) I don’t feel at all comfortable messing around with live 240V!

We’ve looked at buying a new machine, but frankly technology seems to have regressed in the 10 years since this machine came out! No 3rd arms, no interior light etc. So really want to fix this.

Any ideas where to start? Is the fan unit likely to have a failed motor, or will it be PCB related?
