AEG OKO LAVAMAT 1370 – Out of Control!!

The machine is stopping intermittently during a programme….moving the selector knob or pushing the pause/start button has no effect. The only thing it seems to respond to is a power off and then back on….still will not finish the programme though!!
I think it may be the electronic programme controller, can anyone confirm this pls…

Numbers on what I believe to be the controller (plastic enclosed module the control knob spindle is attached to!!) as follows:

124550501
2696 T86

Could be a host of things….kinked fill hose, failed inlet valve, failed heater, failed/blocked pump, or indeed a faulty pcb 😕

Time to get your multimeter out, or call for an engineer really….power off if investigating further.
