    Motor stopped; replaced brsuhes as they were completely shot; motor turned then sparks from brushes and motor went dead; machine will run through cycle completely but motor will not turn at all.
    The motor does not have a capacitor.
    As it happens I have a spare motor that I know works and have tried this and it does not run either.
    Any ideas/help would be much appreciated…..

    Motor has probably taken out tracks on PCb.

    Depends on the damage. You will have to remove and inspect. Bryan.
