AEG OKO-LAVAMAT 72630 Not working

🙄 While the machine was in the middle of a Hot wash programme, it caused the mains RCCB (Earth Leakage Fault) to trip. On resetting the trip, and switching on the machine all the normal display led lights appear
apart from the green door light. When you press the start button the green door flashes briefly but nothing happens, no error code is displayed.

I contacted my nearest AEG repairman who was very friendly and suggested it was the door locking mechcanism. I then purchased and fitted a new lock due the fault remains the same. The heating element tests ok, the motor carbon bushes appear ok.

To save me having to call out an engineer, can anyone help, also does anyone know what buttons to press to put the machine into diagnostic mode and what the codes mean.

When the door lock blows, it almost always takes out the computer board. It’s a Zanussi in a frock BTW.

Power off when you investigate,
