AEG OKO Lavamat 72630-W Can it be saved?

Hi

I recently acquired a L72630 and it has been working fine up until yesterday
when I noticed that the machine would not start a wash.

Moving the control dial to any position only shows a solid green door light
non of the buttons have any effect and non of the red diodes glow at all.
No error codes-no display etc-no washing or anything

So in summary no life other than the green door light.

Can anyone suggest a fix-it was in fine condition and whisper quiet…
I fear landfill or hopefully an easy fix??
