AEG Oko Lavamat 86741 Update C2 & C3 Error

Hi,

Got 13 yr old AEG Oko Lavamat model 86741 Update. Have been getting intermittent C2 error using 40 deg Cotton/Linen wash. Pressing start usually fixed the error. At first this would only happen once in the wash cycle. More recently been happening more than once in the wash cycle. Filter in bottom right has been clear at all times I have been getting this error. Today got C2 error multiple times in wash and cycle finished with water still in the drum. Green light did not come on. Tried spin cycle. That fixed the problem. However, in the final wash of the day, same problem, only this time, spin cycle did not fix the issue and am now getting a C3 error and machine beeps on any wash cycle. Seems the drain pump may finally have died. Water still in the drum. Anyone recognise the symptoms?

PNC is 914 002 405 00.

Last year (8 months ago) was getting C1 error. Changed the inlet valve myself.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the codes. I did Google the codes too, but pin pointing the root cause would be great too.

So after getting the C2 & C3 error i waited for half hour or so and tried spin cycle. That din’t resolve the issue but trying drain did. ALso managed to complete another wash this time on the Refresh cycle without issue.

-So issue is intermittent
-Pressing start has helped clear the issue on some ocassions
-Drain pump seems to work when it does work from the sound it makes and the rate at which the water clears from the window

Any ideas what maybe causing these symptoms?

Am running another wash today, 40 deg Cotton / Linen again. Stopped with C2 error @ 35 mins remaining. Tried start a couple of times. Machine starts for a while but then returns to C2 error. Just selected Drain wash option. Drain pump started and cleared the water fine. Have now started Refresh cycle. Will see if that completes without issue as it did yesterday.

Seems like sensor / switch not invoking drain in 40 deg Cotton / Linen wash cycle but when I select drain it works fine.

What do you think?

could be as simple as a blocked pressure chamber
