    Hi.

I’m working on the machine in subject. The problem was that “all lights light and nothing happens”, so the woman broke the electric lock to get the clothes out. I have an equal machine my self, so I tried to change the lock with one I had but the drum light doesn’t come off. I tried the pcb and that solves it..

Does anyone know which component on the pcb that is connected to the light switch in the door lock? Is this pcb possible to repair? Is this pcd in stock?

The machine is just great, so we could spend some on it…

    Cheers,
    johnson

To be honest you’re playing with fire switching PCBs around – if a component is shorting soon enough you’ll damage the “new” PCB – net result, two broken machines.

You need to check the old circuit board for damage – if these is any visible, trace the circuit back to the component that’s caused it. If you’re competent at soldering, you could try replacing the damaged component, but often there will also be non-visible damage. Testing for this is very difficult without proper equipment.

If there’s no visible damage, you’re better off getting an engineer to check the machine properly. Electrolux PCBs are very expensive and not the sort of thing you want to be blowing up frequently.

Thanks for answer! Iknow, I took a chance there.

The problem is that the old PCB is that it doesnt receive/process the door lock signal for the drum lights.I found some black dust in an area, and a pretty toasted small resistor labeled R53.

I’m not that familiar with soldering small electronics on the board, but this one I ca manage. If thats the probem, though..

    Cheers..

PS: the drum bearings are also up for change; the woman gave the machine up, so now it’s up to me. Mabye I’ll just scrap it.

Hmm, seems to be the curcit P6 that has a fault..

Well… Are this pcb still available or discontinued?

    cheers..
