AEG OKO LAVAMAT Washer 6955 brushes

Looking for the part number for brushes for an OKO LAVAMAT 6955.
E No 914 000 052. F no 077/081805.
My supplier is telling me there are three types to choose from.
Are the actual carbon brushes interchangeable between the various housings thus I can buy any one and simply change over the brushes?

Alex,
Theoretically, there are 3 different motors fitted to this machine, 1 is far more common than the others. Dave Conway will be able to advise you in the morning, so check back later.

So far it is a 3 to 1 chance of getting the correct part. 🙁 (My money would be on Part No: 899645425689) BUT I would seriously suggest you take one of the brush units out and take it to your local supplier for an exact replacement 😉

Martin, brushes were 8996454255-77/0.
I was able to describe them to my supplier (1500 kilometres away) by phone and I got the correct ones.
I am in Australia so perhaps the common motor is a different on to the UK.

Ah! I see, I wondered why I couldn’t figure out the model number, probably unique to Australia? However we do use those brushes too over here and they are known to us in the trade as the much loved “L Type Brushes” 🙂
