AEG OKO_Lavamat 1370 Turbo – Water Problem

Dear All,
Having just moved into a house with the above AEG washer/dryer, the machine is now starting to play up. It appears that when set on the 40 degree C setting and powered on, I can hear the the turning of the programme selector, but the water does not start to come through. It seems that if i select a higher temp wash the water seems to kick in ok…
I have no idea of the age of the machine and was wondering if anyone could throw any light on the problem.

Did you take the machine with you, or was it already there?

Is the cold water turned on, and reaching the machine?

The machine was already there and I have been using it over the last month with no problems until recently. It seems to be an intermittent problem on the 40 degree wash when the water fill doesn’t happen. I haven’t experienced any other problems at other temperatures and these washes start ok.

OK, on other programmes does the cycle complete with no problems ?

I’m thinking the same as GB, no cold water or dodgy valve/tap 🙂
