Hello,

Just read a previous posting for a 601 model about changing drum bearings. As the machine is probably around 15 years old is it worth changing these or just buy a new machine. I am asking because reading other articles on this site gives the impression that newer machines are not necessarily better. Also, I presumably need the two bearings, plus seals, but do I need to replace the drum shaft as well?
