    The other night after using my AEG oven the cooling fan came on as normal when the oven was switched off. However the fan did not switch off as normal and continued to expel air for some time (about 2 hours). I decided to switch the oven off at the mains.

    The following day I switched the oven on at the mains and the cooling fan came on automatically. I then switched the oven on and set the temperature at 200 degrees C. After about 10 minutes I heard a dull bang and the oven shut down. The oven appears dead!

    The oven is just over one year old.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    It sounds like it may be related to the infamous cooling fan control unit, could you post the PNC (product code) please, normally 9?????????
