    Hi folks,
A little problem with my AEG OVEN
    PNC 944171529
The cooling fan is constantly running, have tried switching it off from the mains and firing it up again but the fan still runs.
I have replaced the oven overheat protection thermostat but I still have the same issue.
Can someone please advise me on what should be the next step in resolving this issue.

first give me the complete pnc number as there are 2 more digits on the end

from the one i looked up the fan is controlled from 2 places
1 the top oven control switch
2 a small thermal relay that keeps it going after its been swithed off

we have to detemine which one of these is faulty

as far as i can see the fan can be triggered from 4 places

terminal 11 on both the top oven switch and the main oven switch leads to the fan. check this is true and if so remove the wire from each switch in turn and see if it stops

if that fails there is a seperate stat on the top oven to keep it running after the oven is turned off
in the lower oven this is done by a thermal relay

Update I disconnected the zn limiter from terminal 11 but fan still runs.
Disconnected zn limiter from motor/fan stops.
When testing the thermostats which colour cable would I need to pull?

Update, apologies for the very late reply, traced the fault down to the Zn limiter replaced that and hey presto works like it should.
    Thanks for your help.
