AEG oven preference stop working

Hi can anyone help please.
I have an AEG single oven – model Preference, and when I switch it on ,the lights come on but no heating or fan come on as before?

Hi,
Thanks for your interest.
Here are the details for the oven .
Some specific details.
When it is put on on some occasions it just cut off and it takes several attempts and it is o.k .
The last time I used it was Monday and when I put it to the max 300 degrees centigrade a for pizza and then reduced it to 260degrees centigrades after 30 mins it just switched off from time to time .
Then yesterday when I try to put it on,all the lights come on but the fan and the heat stopped .
Any advice and help is welcome.

had a quick look at the tech info and nothing springs to mind that’s easy.
this unit has two electronic panel controlling everything and from the way you describe it one of them is not doing its job. the problem is finding out which one. not a job if you don’t know the trade I am afraid. all you can do is check the mains leads to the oven if they are screws are they tight and if its a plug try a different one

Many thanks for your response .
Will give it a try .
The funny part of it is that the other day I switched it off.
Then when I switched it on and try ,to my surprise it worked.
Since I did not have to use it ,I switched it off.
But today Sunday when I try ,nothing happens even the light came on.
I had notice that the oven light does not come on when I switch the oven on but has to do it manually.
I had noticed that a when I put it on fan this ‘P2.30’ appeared and on the right the light appears below the counter sign…
Another thing was I noticed,before when I started putting it on Pizza setting the temp use to be 150 degrees setting but now it is 134…….

I have exactly the same problem with my AEG Competence.
It is about 12 years old. AEG will not advise me as they say it is obsolete.
It cuts out eratically, sometime just as it starts up, sometimes afer an hour or more of cooking. Fan, heat and light go off, it can sometimes start itsself up again.
Sometimes it works perfectly, other times it cuts out again and again. Banging the door closed can restart it. I checked inside the control panel and it all looks ok, but it’s a spaghetti feast in there.
Any thoughts? This model doesn’t seem to have a cut out switch which other AEG oven seems to, judging by the spare parts section of their website.
I’m at a loss. I’ve checked the electric connection.
Is there any genius out there who can advise??

To be able to help you will need to give the PNC or model number but, the PNC number is better.
