Hi.
Probably not. Usually this can be one of three things in my experience.
1). Main on/off switch contacts failing which means replacing the whole control panel. pt no: 311 38 48-62 / 0.
2). One of the electronics are acting up. Relay board: 899661 37 43-10 / 4 or power board 311 50 05-00 / 5
3). The main oven thermal cut out rated at 180 oC is operating too early. 311 51 90-05 / 4.
1 & 2 are pricey, 3 is not. Which one it is would be impossible to say really as the electronics are only really able to be tested is by means of substitution & really the same goes for the switch.
I assume that the top oven & grill functions are ok. If not then that opens up some further possibilites such as the cooling fan & the like.

Hi
Thanks for your reply. The top oven & grill do still work. We had a local Appliance Engineer look at it but as it is an intermitent fault and they could not make it cut out (even when they took it away & had it running in their workshop for a considerable time). Eventually they replaced 3 x TOC but the oven still switches off occasionally and usually at the most inconvenient time. Are the Control Panel and Relays so expensive that the better option is to replace the oven (I could not locate the prices for these parts on the site myself)?
Best regards

Hi Frank,
The main power board is about £160 or so and the display card at the front about £110 based on the quick look I had. In other words, silly money.

Many thanks for the prices – looks like a new oven is on the cards.
Thanks again for the help from everyone.
