AEG L87696wd. 914604701/00. Fault code E10. This code had come up on arrival machine spun and pumped out: I set the machine on rinses with same load and then to spin to the end door can be opened no error code came up. I think this E10 has something to do with filling rather than a problem with pump out since that constantly showed no sign of a pump problem. Noticed on the AEG spares site picture this valve is one of those wretched speed flow sensor types so could maybe be that although like I said the machine did not go wrong at the time of my test. Could be a pin prick hole in the pressure switch rubber hose I suppose but the water level looked right. Trouble is this contraption is on a plinth 2.5 feet off the ground and is boxed in – another one of those daft characters going all out for tweeness rather than practicalities. What you reckon? On the right track? Any other pointers please. Thx.
the E1 series codes are E11, 12 and 13. All the user sees is E10 and the actual code is only visible in service mode
