AEG Santo S85628SK1 American Fridge Freezer, periodic noise

Hi,

We’re buying a house off plan and were in the house at the weekend having a nose. We opted to have an AEG Santo S85628SK1 American Fridge Freezer installed:

but we noticed some kind of loud noise from it periodically, say every 5 or 10 minute? any idea what this might be? Kind of like a filtration noise or something – we move in, in a few weeks and I don’t want to move in to find that doesn’t work!

Also, the way they have fitted it, it looks like there is too much of a gap either side of it, looks a bit odd – whats the usual space you have to enclose one of these do you think?
