    Hi,
    I’ve had an AEG SCT71800S1 fridge/freezer for 3 years and the freezer stopeed working. Fridge is still alright and the temperature probe seems to be fine as the alarm has been triggered.

    Any idea where the fault comes from?

    well since the fridge is fed from the freezer your freezer cant be completely dead. there is a fan in the freezer is it operating when the door closes
    is it iced up (Defrost heater failed? )

    try switching off and open doors for at least 36 hours and try again. if its ice build up it will work again. and if it reoccurs you will have to look for a cause
