    Hi all
I have an AEG lavatherm T37320 which has just had a new heater installed. It now heats and runs but only for approx. 30 seconds before then ending the program. I cant find anything like this issue on the web so far, and the few engineers I have spoken to have had no idea either. Any ideas greatfully accepted or the heater (£130!!) gets sent back and the machine scrapped.

Can you give us the full model number (PNC no) of your appliance?

Stopping after a few seconds is nothing whatsoever to do with the heater, period!

The fault is to do with the brush sensor pick-up of the drum. If the electronics do not get a reading from the brushes it simply shuts down after a few moments. So the drum sensor band and the brushes need checking. Probably just need cleaning?

Do any of the lights flash on the control panel? If so which ones?

    Hi Martin thx for that.
The heater had already broken, had had it tested after just cold air was being blown and it was deceased.
Re the sensor and band that was already cleaned I’m afraid.

No flashing lights, just the usual power lights then once it stops the anti crease/end cycle light comes on
