AEG Tall larder fridge 72358 (old) and 72398 (new)

We have an AEG Tall larder fridge (Santos 72358) next to the equivbaloent tall freezer, in a combined unit sold as KNX18042/75578KG1.

The fridge stopped working this evening. We’re going to call an engineer out tomorrow but, as it’s out of warranty, I want to be prepared for the worst.

AEG don’t make our model anymore, they now make a 72398 which looks almost the same (except this has a double height salad compartment arrangement at the bottom).

Anyway, I’m hoping that I can just buy one of these and slot it in where the old one was.

Will this work do you think?

Hi Hazel

I can`t remeber the sizes on that model but the measurements of the new model are here on the AEG site so you can compare.

Our fridge just started working again of its own accord, so panic averted. But I will investigate so I know for the future.
