AEG U3100-4-M bottom oven not getting heat

hi,

Wondering if anyone can help me.

I’ve got an AEG U3100-4-M double oven.

At the weekend the bottom oven just stopped working (top oven works without issue).
When turning the knob on the front to heat the Neon light doesn’t light up, however I can hear the fan at the back of the oven start and continue to spin, however no heat.

I’ve tried replacing the Element, and Thermostat without success…

My next step is to try and replace the Multifunctional switch, but running out of things to replace.

anyone come across this before, or any better ideas.

if that switch has gone you can probably see it.

oven element is fed off contact P2 look at the switch contact for signs of damage

do you think that would also explain the neon light not coming on when the switch is turned?

since if that contact is faulty then it feeds the element and the light so yes

beware on one model there are 2 switches depending on serial no

production code 94417139600 has 2 up to serial 733 same as below after 349 04 39-01 / 9

all the rest use 311 51 97-01 / 8
