AEG W/D drier cutting out early

[simtoms]

Howdy folks,

query on an AEG washer drier L7WEG841R prod 91460382300
wash side is fine. Drier runs, heat cuts in for a short time then cuts off. Drier finishes before time without error codes.
tried drier ntc and humidity sensor to no avail.
not the first time I’ve come across this but haven’t figured out what it is! PCB?

have you gone into service mode as some error codes dont show to the user ?

To be honest Dave, I can’t remember how to access error codes on this model.
Any pointers welcome.
