AEG w/m – L16850, Leaks from draw only on 20 min cycle

Hi all,abit stumpted with this 1,customer normaly uses 40/60 cotton but when she uses 20 min q/wash water floods out of the dispenser.Ive checked hoses,made sure she doesnt use full tablet,water pressure is high so turned down.Any help would be great,Thanks

Hi, are any of the soap box jets partially blocked and squirting at a strange angle? I’ve had this before. On some AEG m/c’s the water compartment selector system can cause this. I have also had to strangle off some of the water presssure in some cases where it’s on the high side.
One is tempted to ask if the m/c is ‘level’ to slightly ‘nose up’ but if it weren’t I would imagine the other progs would be in trouble also.
Only causes of this i’ve had are a small toy ball in the soap drawer, blocked inlet (to drum) hose, disc type detergent tablet across inlet hose aperture, defective water selector system and jets squirting at funny angles. Hope this helps. 😕
