    hi iv been out to an aeg w/m today (have not got model to hand) and the door locks but it does not start ? im thinking pcb???

    i would have a look at the pump if pump not running it wont do anything

    hi thanks for replys the pump does not run but tested ok , lights are as normal ???

    have you checked that the impellor hasnt been jammed very prone to that happening

    What a great shame that is because we can only stab in the dark at what the problem might be and how to solve it. 🙁

    Here’s my best guess based on dozens of different models and their common problems: –

    Heater?
    Motor Brushes?
    Pump?
    Pressure Switch?

    and finally…when you enter ‘diagnostics mode’ what was the ‘last error detected?’

    hi thanks for all your help i will be picking the machine up monday so will post model and ill have a proper look at it in the workshop alan

    had zanussi the other day same fault

    condensation on motor

    They don’t have sheds on Merseyside, well, not for long anyway, first thing that gets knicked!!! 😡

    I thought so. Wales too? I guess the only safe place to live is Hampshire.

    machine was in unheated kitchen
    result cooking steam and cold motor = condensation
