AEG washer dryer E20 fault.

    Went to this today, dont have the model number at hand, but it’s a zanussi type and it’s an update version.
    After tumble drying for about 3 mins, it starts beeping and reporting E20.
    Pump is clear, drainage is fine, T/D element meggas ok, condensor water solenoid is working ok.
    I ran it with the door open and air flow is good.
    Any Ideas guys?

    could be pump, psw or board / conections

    Went to one off these no fault 1st half hour visit went back fully primed, pump seized/sticking changed pump all okay.

    E20 is only the fault that the user see’s. You need to interogate the machine to find the real code ie E21, E23 etc. Usually draining related.

    yep, condenser is probably blocked

    and thats because water doesnt get to the pump, so the toc cuts the pump out cos it gets hot

    usually, thats why its ok on wash, cos its full of water

    best to clean the condenser then change the pump anyway, bet ur life ull be called back!!!
