aeg washer dryer L16830

hi,
this machine looks very much like the zanussi washer dryer.

the machine works perfectly on wash but not on dryer,
the fan motor goes, the water goes into the condenser the thermostats and thermistor are ok the heaters are ok.

however there is no heat i suspect the pcb anyone else had this problem and can anybody give me a ballpark figure for the pcb.

daft question do you have power to the elements ???

yes there is electricity going to the elements.

If your getting power to elements during drying cycle that would say that the pcb is ok but your elements or stats are at fault. Are you getting a live and netural feed ?

there is only a live feed,

i checked the thermostats and they were all ok.

So you have lost a netural somewhere from the pcb or on the circuit jump a netural across and see if works and go form there. 😀

connected up neutral and it heated ok,
i assume this means the pcb is faulty, anyone khow ballpark price,

Check the condenser valve coil and check the thermistor that is mounted in the condenser tank to tub hose. Wire to thermistor some times breaks.
