AEG Washer Lavamat 72600

Went to this machine today, when any program is selected and the start button pressed it locks the door pumps runs for 15seconds then it stops it takes no water and times down on the display. No power to water valve cables go directly to lower board, checked pressure switch appears to be OK.
Think it’s the board but has anyone come across this before, board very expensive can it be repaired ?

Havce had heater faulty b4 check heater. Mega the heater after its been on through dianostics. it may also give you fault code in diagnostics

Sounds like you’ve got an inadvertently activated demo mode – possibly! It is selected by holding the PREWASH and SOAK buttons at the same time while switching the machine on at the rotary dial and moving it to DELICATE SPIN. Buttons need to be held for more than 4 seconds. It is deactivated by doing the same procedure again. It happened to me once, and was pulling my hair out until I discovered this gem. Hope this helps.

The diagnostic seamed to go ok until I got to the water check, there was obviously no water flow and no power to the water valve but the led that should acompany this fault did not illuminate, customer is buying a replacement so I may get the AEG to test further
