AEG washing machine not working.

I have an AEG Oko Lavamat 74640 Update and when it is switched on the pump runs for a few seconds and then nothing happens. The start/pause light flashes. no fault code shows. I have opened/cleaned filter but made no difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

An error code is shown by a sequence of flashing LED’s . The ‘End of cycle LED’ and the ‘Start/pause LED’. Count the flashes of the former for the first digit of the error code and the latter for the second. There is a longer pause between flashes before the sequence repeats itself. (e g first LED 3 flashes, 2nd LED 4 flashes = error code 34) 😀

Thanks for the response. I have checked again and the “end” of wash light does not light up at all – just the “start/pause” light flashes continuously. The other lights on are “main wash, rinse and spin”lights at the same time as the start/pause light. Any thoughts?

Snap!, i have exactly the same problem, the start light flashing, but no error code.
Called Aeg they reckon the main board has gone…..
Did the op manage to get this sorted?!
Any other thoughts?

Also going off subject on the “search for an engineer” what does the star mean as opposed to the repair symbol only? thanks!
