    Can anybody offer advice….the above machine has developed a noise during during any “spin”cycle. I have removed the 3-legged bearing and checked the bearings for wear….there is some play (no water ingress). Iintend toreplace them + the seal. However Iam not convinced the wear is sufficient to cause the problem………if I press down hard and rotate the inner drum it “fouls” the outer drum. Could the inner drum started to come adrift from its “drive-shaft”.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Possibly a crack in one of the arms of the drum support spider. The only sure way to check this is by removing the inner drum.
