I came across a new AEG washing machine with a welded plastic tub last week, so no more bearing changes just like the merloni crap. Still more money to be made by those in the recycling game WHAT A JOKE.

Didn’t think they had been out that long?
Is it not in year 1, some have a 3 year warranty, and others have a 5 year, depending on retailer.

A retail sales guy that I know mentioned the welded tub to the Electrolux rep that called into his shop only this week. He said there was no such thing as a welded tub 😆 and that they were held together by 17 screws as they have always been, after all that would be ridiculous as you would have to scrap the inner and outer drum.
Electrolux need to keep their reps more up to date about the latest throw away machines that they are manufacturing, only then can the reps put a spin on things instead of shooting themselves in the foot. 😉
