ParticipantHello,
I have been having ongoing issues with the following two products.
AEG S75388KG68 Product 925034253-00 Type CBNF390
Zanussi ZNB404W Product 925034413-00Both have issues with fridge not cooling (intermitent). One has had a new fan months back and the other a Module.
But I keep getting problems with the fridge not cooling.
We have the AEG on test in the workshop.
It has been running perfect for 3 weeks and yesterday the fridge went up from +4c to +10c.
Have just looked at it and the fan is running, the rear fridge damper was open and the compressor running.
Then the machine cycled off. Fridge at +10c and freezer -18c.
Opened the fridge door and the damper motor was open but then as I opened the door.
Can anyone shed any light on this please?

normally fan problems, the bearings get tight and you lose the fan…make sure that the evaporator is clear and not iced up….have had many defrost heater faults

Fan motor is fine, this one has been replaced.
No frost formation on evaporator or ice in drain. Thanks for the reply.
Someone menntioned sesnor failures on smaller versions of this model?

I have exactly the same fault on the AEG version of the models initially mentioned. Carried out power-off defrost for 48 hours but not water came out. Switched back on and ran perfectly for 5 days but then with no warning the fridge temp went back up to +11 and will not come back down. Fan at the rear of the freezer runs perfectly.
Did anyone ever get to the bottom of this one?
Cheers,

if its the type with a door/push/switch in freezer for fan then they commonly go intermitent

As I said, the fan at the rear of the freezer runs perfectly. The problem is that, if you leave it off for 48 hours, then it works perfectly for anywhere between a week or a month.

Can be fan motor or module fault. Fans sieze, modules skip defrost.
Also beware of low refrigerant (leaks). Or, compressor issues . This can fool you into the aforementioned.
Heaters and sensors rarely fail.
