AGE Elecrolux Not Switching On

Please help. My 3 year old AGE is refusing to switch on this morning. There is nothing on screen and I have tried switching it on and off and unplugging but nothing happens. The socket is working as I tried my hairdryer and that was fine.

In case its relevant its model number is L14850

Any advice

I presume you have checked/replaced the fuse?

Main control PCB’s fail a fair bit on these as do door interlocks and dryer heaters. So if the fuse is good and power is getting to the machine then all 3 will need checking for starters.

P.S I did chuckle at your typo ‘AGE’ in retrospect what an appropriate name. 😉

Any idea how much getting these things checked out/fixed would cost. I don’t want to end up spending more than cost of a new one!

To be honest it is best to ask that of a local engineer based on the info I have given you so far. Prices/charges vary so from area to area.

We all fall victim to predictive text for sure. 🙁 It never ceases to amaze me the foolishness of Apple’s predictive text which clearly is a thesaurus of strange American/Japanese slang words.
