First and foremost, turn off the electricity supply to the unit.
Secondly, Take some photos os the damage and the serial number.
Third, Since your appliance is under 2 years old, contact Beko in an attempt to aquire a repair from them for free.
Finally, if you get refuse by Beko, FIND AN ENGINEER

if the wiring is not tightened correctly in terminal block when it was installed, this will cause it to melt. also make sure it has correct cable-6mm twin & earth

Ok so now I’m fuming ! the cooker got installed when it got delivered by the delivery person who worked for co-op heart of England group ! so who is at fault ? I contacted Beko and a service engineer’s receptionist got back to me on 1-10-11 and said they would call around at some point on the 5-10-11 (yesterday) i asked for a rough time and they said between 8am – 5pm and that some one would phone half hour before they arrive ! So after booking a whole day off work and waiting in all day ! No one turned up ! So would like to thank BEKO and there service engineer’s ! as I’m out of pocket! the miss’s is still moaning! and the cooker is still not fix’d !

It is not possible to say who is at fault without inspecting the damaged area… When Beko call out they may tell you that the installation was faulty or they may tell you that the cooker was faulty, but in order for them to do that they need to inspect the damage too.
